At the workbench in the Souls Room, you have the option of modifying organs by either adding white skulls or red skulls to them. Adding white skulls is helpful to get to the max white skulls for a body to store in your graveyard or for better zombie work efficiency, but adding red skulls doesn't seem to have any benefit. The only possible reason I could see for doing so is adding red skulls to a body before using a gold injection, however using a dark injection to do so seems like the better alternative.
Is there any mechanic I am missing, or is adding red skulls to an organ just an alternative to using a dark injection when preparing a 26 white skull body?
