This is from Суперниндзя разбор сезона (Youtube, VK):

[My transcriber has transcribed this, but not the two final shows of this season, so this episode is out of order.]

00:01:27,330 --> 00:01:30,650 Итак, друзья, сегодня вы отдыхаете. Вы великолепно справились,

00:01:30,690 --> 00:01:33,410 отвели целый сезон, целых девять выпусков.

Отвели is translated by DeepL as "They devoted an entire season to it". But it seems to me to be the same prefix от- in words like отсидеть, отслужить, and so it is not used in the meaning of отвести "to allocate, assign". I think it means you presented the whole show for the whole season. It is a prefix showing full completion of a period, right? No dictionary specifically shows отвести used like this, but I think it must be.

Отвели here is a generic (non-idiomatic) ad-hoc construct formed from the verb вести "to host" with the prefix от- in the sense of "see (something) through, see to completion, do one's part" (sense 1 on Russian Wiktionary).

Compare отучиться "to complete one's education", отработать "to work out (one's notice before quitting the job); to work off (a debt)", and so on.

Отвели целый сезон means "you've done your job of hosting the whole season (of the show)".

As mentioned in the comments, this is not the primary meaning of the word отвести, which normally (and idiomatically) means to allot; to allocate; to earmark

I'd like to emphasize that such interpretation is viable only because we know that this phrase was addressed to the show presenters. In any other context, "отвести сколько-то времени на какую-то задачу" would indeed mean "выделить сколько-то времени", "to allocate some time to some task". Commented 12 hours ago

Here, «отвели» is really allocated, devoted, scheduled, and the like.

It does not express anything specific about complete or incomplete season, full show or a part of the show. Generally, you have some time accessible for the show, and you have some topics, themes, or the like, and then you allocate some part of the schedule for some purpose. It's a mapping between what to show and when to show. You define it by allocating some place in the schedule to what you plan to show, «отводите» it.
