Free VCF file to CSV or Excel converter

Excel VBA Script to convert VCF file with multiple entries to CSV file

This is an Excel based VBA script used to import bulk .VCF files that contain more than 1 Vcard and then convert them to a comma separated .CSV file or Excel xls file that can then be imported into Outlook, Google, or any other application that supports import of contacts using CSV files. This has been written to support VCF 2.0, 2.1, 3.0 and 4.0 formatted files including those with printable encoding (MIME) and has been tested with bulk VCF files from Backupify, Google Contacts (Gmail Contacts), Apple IOS, Samsung Android devices and other platforms. If this doesn't work for you, please email me the VCF file and I'll modify the code to support your specific VCF format. To use, simply download and open the Excel file (xlsm), Enable Macros if prompted, and then select the VCF file you wish to import. Once complete, Excel will create and save new file titled VCFExport.csv that can also be saved in Excel format.

Command-line sql JDBC tool

jdbc2csv is a small command-line tool written in JAVA and can be used on all platforms, for which JRE 8 or higher is available. To connect to a specific DBMS the tool uses its JDBC driver. The result of the executed 'select' query is displayed in CSV format ( different standards are supported ). When there is an error the tool stops with exit code 1 and the error message is output on stderr. jdbc2csv is created with a main purpose to be used in shell-scripts. Relatively easy to configurate, this tool is suitable for queries ‘select’, ‘update’ and ‘delete’. I think that is not suitable for a large number of requests, like 'insert'.

csv2odf

csv2odf can convert csv data to formatted spreadsheets and documents.

csv2odf can create business intelligence reports from csv data sources with output to ods, odt, html, xlsx, or docx documents. It uses a template file that you design to control the layout, fonts, and colors. Just query your database with output to csv (or tsv), then use csv2odf to insert the data into your template to produce a nice looking formatted output. It is a command line tool and you can automate the generation of reports by using scripts and cron. It can be used to create spreadsheets and documents for LibreOffice, OpenOffice, Microsoft Office Excel and Word. It is open source GPL v3 and crossplatform, it can run on most operating systems that can run Python (Python is required). More details, example files, and online manual at http://csv2odf.sf.net.

FREE CSV & Text (TXT) File Splitter

Ability to work with large csv files and cut them down to run in Excel

This CSV and TXT file splitter firstly allows you to work with large data files. We have tested this on the largest CSV file we could find. It had over 25.6 Million rows. Microsoft Excel can only load 1 Million rows. So the challenege was on! Splitting a file in this case by 990,000 rows made sure that it was more than capable to load into excel. Splitting 25.6Million rows took aroud 50 minutes. Has been tested reading 25Million rows which took around 15 seconds to read. Its made using the .NET framework version 4.6

AhnConvert

This converter bridges from the .ahn file format into GEDCOM 5.5.1, It's a command-line tool written in Java. AhnConvert allows family data, laboriously grabbed decades ago surviving into state-of-the art genealogy software products. The software "Familien Chronik" by Reiner W. Dudde was a genealogy software published by Data Becker as part of the "Goldene Serie" series, back in the 1990's. Especially in Germany this tool penetrated the market to some extent. Generating a project and filling in all relatives and ancestors resulted in an .ahn file. Unfortunatelly, this format cannot be imported by any of the current genealogy software. On the other side, GEDCOM can be read without problems by most of today's programs.

is a Qt program to generate SMD chip shooter code

Still struggling with Excel to setup your pick and place machine ? Cad2Board reads component mounting information from Eagle, Altium Designer and Mentor Expedition PCB designs. Component or component groups can be assigned to feeder slots by drag and drop. Any modifications for PCB population can be defined to generate PCB variants, consider rotations from unusual tape and reel packaging or to account in advance for CAD library or PCB design bugs. Generated setup data is stored in a seperate project file. Succeeding PCB revisions what contain redesign changes can be merged with existing project setup data. Inconsistencies are highlighted to solve them by new assignements and unused feeders can be cleaned up with a single push. Finally a machine program is generated in Heeb HE50 format and downloaded to the machine interface.

Helps translate SAV / CSV data into usable Excel data

You have been struggling with SPSS databases when you needed to use excel? Well, this file (or the VBA module attached to it) will help you: you paste your CVS file format into one sheet, and the bulky strings will all your values will gently be split into one value per column by a custom excel function, The function takes into account that some values might be strings with comas that should not be split into different variables. The custom function should be usable for other types of files, it basically disaggregare a string into values separated by a standard character (by default the coma, but can be changed) and ignores separation characters that are within "string identifier" characters (by default the " ). It is a very simple excel file, you need to allow the macros to use it.

It was created for performance engineers to be able to have a easy way to compare data from two testruns and be able to automate the comparing process of various files with scripts. There is a command line tool as well as a user interface. In case you need to compare .xml-Files you can convert them to .csv-Files with my other project CSV Transformer. The advantages by using CSV as input and output are the following: - Many applications allow an export of its data to CSV or Excel(were it could be saved to CSV) - It is possible to pre- and postprocess the data, e.g removing version numbers before comparing - It is easy to create CSV data from logfiles and other resources by using unix tools like sed or awk - CSV can be loaded into other applications, especially Excel, were it can be formatted by macros for analyzing.
