Thank you for reviewing the changes. I understand the concern regarding the previous AfD discussion. However, my intention was not merely to restore the old merged version. I have worked on improving the article based on developments and coverage that emerged after the AfD discussion.

Since the previous discussion, Abhijeet Dipke has received additional independent coverage from multiple reliable sources, including detailed profiles and reports focusing specifically on him, his background, role, and public impact, not only the Cockroach Janta Party itself. I believe the current situation is different from the time of the previous AfD, and the article should be evaluated based on the present available sources rather than only the previous consensus. Dear Discospinster, i'm a bit worried concerning your actions toward my edits. I acknowledge that i made an error by moving my written article to the mainpage while i wasn't suppose to do so. My apologies for that. I'm an African interested in the works done in philosophy of mind and during my research, i came across the interesting works of the British and the Cameroonian Philosophers. You can bear with me that, little is writing about the works of African philosophers who are contributing ideas in philosophy of mind. So, the edits that i make for their work to be included in Wikipedia is that, their ideas can reach a greater audience so that discussion can be carried out in academia concerning their works. Even though most of the African philosophers are not yet notable, their works that i mention and cite on the different Wikipedia pages are from reliable and valid sources. So, i don't know why you have decided to revert my edits concerning the Cameroonian philosopher and left that of the British philosopher. Thanks and best regard. Unfortunately that is not what Wikipedia is for. It's an encyclopedia that documents subject that are already notable. So in terms of philosophers, that would involve publishing articles in well-known (not predatory) journals, writing books, or having other philosophers examine their theories. ... discospinster _talk 19:55, 12 September 2026 (UTC)

Before Articles are been published in a philosophy journal and index, they undergo per-review by philosophers and are accepted based on the importance of the ideas that the work expresses. Subjects can't become notable if the works are not mentioned and cited especially in philosophy, for different philosophers to make their opinions of it. I think that your rules are Biased. We don't allow pre-print, predatory journals, or self-published materials. Once the subject has actually been published in something more reputable, then that may be of some interest, but we'd still need reliable sources on the person. OK. OK. OK. But philosophy is not science. It generates new ideas for other fields such as science to explore. To add to this, the reputable philosophers are reputable because they publish their articles in reputable journals in which they themselves are editors and reviewers. So, to be reputable is a vicious cycle. Philosophers, particularly from Africa, submit their articles with interesting ideas in those journals you call reputable, but their articles are rejected due to reasons that are best known to the reputable editors and reviewers. the African philosophers then submit their articles in the journals you call Predatory Journals which are edited and reviewed by other philosophers whom you think are not reputable. Platforms like yours (Wikipedia) which serves as excellent areas were people can acquire knowledge for free, should not be bias in reinforcing the bias deeds of those journals you call reputable. I think that those journals are bureaucratic priesthood. For an African philosopher to be considered reputable, he/she has to study in the Western Countries, for their works to be easily accepted and i find that unfair. I think that, when an article is published in a journal, no matter the journal, it ideas deserves to be mentioned and cited in free platforms (Encyclopedia) like Wikipedia for, the article was per-reviewed. Again, Wikipedia is not the place for people to try to promote original ideas, even if you really think they are great ideas. Otherwise it would not be an encyclopedia but rather a space where anyone can just talk about what they think. There are other places on the internet where people can make their ideas known such as PhilArchive, but unless the ideas are commented on by others, they are not considered notable for the purposes of this site. The vast majority of people with philosophical ideas are not going to be published in a peer-reviewed journal, for all sorts of reasons, but that's not a valid reason to use Wikipedia as a substitute for peer-reviewed publishing. ... discospinster _talk 01:40, 15 September 2026 (UTC)

I don't agree with you, for articles cited in Wikipedia have been published in Journals and Wikipedia can not be a substitute for peer-reviewed publishing because it's not a journal, it's an Encyclopedia. I think Wikipedia is a platform where published articles no matter the journal in which it was published (Here, i'm talking about journals with editors and reviewers and not pre-print, self publishing and personal websites), deserve to be cited. But anyhow, it seems as if you people don't want to understand my points. I cited the works of the Cameroonian philosopher in the Wikipedia pages of Consciousness, Philosophy of Mind, and Trialism because his ideas agrees and disagrees with other western philosophers in solving major problems in philosophy of mind and the ideas are published in a journal. Dear Discospinster: Please consider modifying your edit regarding the photo of Professor Nagy. You have turned it into a head shot, which I may add is not very flattering (there are better head shots of him available). But, more importantly, the edit takes him out of his element, so to speak. He is known as an authority on ancient Greek literature and that is why it seems worthwhile to include a photo of him with some ancient Greek monument in the background.
