n8n just dropped a technical evaluation of 14 AI agent platforms. And Sim came out on top. On the core Codability axis, we scored higher than n8n. I read it three times to make sure I wasn't misreading. 76 to 72. But the number isn't the part that stuck with me. It was a line the author wrote about us: "I was surprised to see so much one-to-one mapping between the criteria defined and their capabilities… they've only been around for one year, so let them cook." When you're a year in, you don't get the benefit of the doubt. No brand to coast on, no community flywheel. The only thing you can win on is whether the product does the hard stuff—agent auth, secrets management, sandboxed code, agent-to-agent. The parts nobody puts on a landing page. We were one of a handful of vendors out of 14 to score full marks on agent identity and secrets management. We just cared about the boring parts. And huge respect to n8n here. They commissioned this, they hosted it, they published it—knowing it wouldn't always flatter them. That takes real confidence. We're a year in. Let us cook.
