3a/ Discover purpose in our lives

Bitcoin Minimalism is about finding truth in yourself and your beliefs rather than in material possessions. Freedom from the trappings of the consumer culture we’ve built our lives around which has been fueled by Keynesian economic policies

1/ Bitcoin is a minimalist philosophy.

Bitcoin Minimalism is a lifestyle that helps people question what things add value to their lives.

A wealthy person gifts you $10,000. You get to choose in which form you’ll accept the gift. But there’s a catch: You must keep the gift in the form that you choose for 10 years without touching it. In which form would you accept the gift?

1/ Extremely weak reporting from and who even after speaking with them seem to completely misunderstand how stablecoins work and how $'s flow into and across exchanges.

TBH buying into the mainpulation FUD is probably a necessary coping mechanism for nocoiners. I mean, imagine knowing about bitcoin for years and not holding even just a little bit. You'd have to convince yourself it's all a charade to reckon with your choices.

1/ People often ask me why I’m so “against” Ethereum. Why do I go out of my way to point out flaws or make analogies that put it in a bad light?

Just a quicky update on ETH 2.0. tl;dr: Less shards, biggar bloks. Because why not. > 1 MB/s is 600 MB per 10 minutes. Gigameg block territory.

Satoshis are a medium that you hold for years / decades before exchanging them for consumption or investment. This is incomprehensible to high time preference keynesians

Core PR to gander at, spelling out an idea I'd heard long ago but couldn't find written anywhere to remove the need for legacy checkpoints in Bitcoin:

Bitcoin whitepaper purists should take note that the following things are NOT described in the whitepaper: multisig mining pools 21M coin cap GPU & ASIC mining 10 minute block times HD address generation best chain = cumulative PoW, not longest chain and much, much more...
