When I heard about TuneFlex AUX with SmartClick, a multifunction car audio system from Griffin Technlogy that holds your iPod or iPhone securely on a rigid stalk while playing audio through your car's AUX input jack; recharges your iPod or iPhone; and includes a wireless remote that can be attached to your steering wheel.

I thought it would be the answer to my prayers. And it might have been if not for its one fatal flaw...

Torrance, California-based TRENDnet announced the release of its 300MBps Dual Band Wireless N USB adapter, model TEW-664UB for Mac and Windows-based PCs on Friday. The adapter can operate on either a 2.4GHz or 5GHz radio frequency and is compatible with older wireless 802.11b and 802.11g solutions as well as cordless phones, cellular phones and Bluetooth devices.

Apple has apparently decided that iPhone and iPod touch users outside of Japan don't need Emoji characters, so the company has begun rejecting programs that enable the feature. Programs that do nothing more than enable Emoji have already started to disappear from the App Store, too.

Ambrosia Software on Thursday introduced its US$19 Insurrection Collection, which includes the action strategy games DEFCON, Darwinia, and Uplink. The bundle, which is $60 cheaper than buying all three separately, will be available until March 4, when its next strategy game, Multiwinia, will debut.
